Venice outdoor, portrait session

Venice is a splendid setting, to be exploited on any occasion: inspiration cannot be missing in this city.

In the first part of this post I want to tell the portrait shooting made with the American model and actress, Celeste Thorson.

Once again, after an exchange of emails, we decided on the style and location. Our starting point would have been that of the hotel “The Westin Europa”, in a decidedly privileged position on the Grand Canal, certainly to be exploited. Later, we would move to the Salute church. All in a couple of hours, until the sun sets, taking advantage of the most beautiful hours of light.

With our model was also her husband, who I wanted to involve in some couple shots .. I must say that the result was very good!

Surely these are my favorite shots: the moment was magical, the light and the perfect atmosphere. I didn’t want to think about flashes, spotlights or anything, just my camera and the sunlight shortly after sunset.
